Bountiful Brookfield Blooms
Seasonal Fresh Cut Flowers
ABOUT US
Bountiful Brookfield Blooms is located in Brookfield, Nova Scotia about 80 km from Halifax, Nova Scotia. We grow seasonal local outdoor cut flowers from mid June to end of September on our 14 acre farm. Our total production area of cut flowers is about 1 acre with dahlias being our main cut flower, growing about 1000 plants every year.
We at Bountiful Brookfield Blooms do not consider ourselves a florist, but instead a flower farm. All our flowers we use for our bouquets are grown on our property and the style of bouquets changes as the season progresses. We start the season in June with our ranunculus and anemones, shifting to lilies in July, with dahlias starting at the end of July, and our sunflowers blooming from end of August to end of September. We sell our bouquets roadside from home during peak season, and we sell at the Truro Farmers Market on Saturdays from 8 am to 1 pm from June to September. We also do wedding flowers from mid June to third week of September. Bountiful Brookfield Blooms also offers a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) floral subscriptions starting in mid June.
